Our Client, a Multi-Franchise Car Dealership in the Chelmsford region is currently looking to recruit an experienced and professional Accounts Assistant to join their busy Accounts team for a part time role.

This role is to support the accounts function within the Dealer Group by the accurate and prompt processing of manufacturer documentation and providing key reconciliations to the Company Accountants. This will include debtor and purchase ledger reconciliation, balance sheet controls, and effective communication with Departmental Managers with additional ad-hoc duties.

Our Client is ideally looking for an enthusiastic individual with a relevant accounts background who is willing to take on a new existing challenge within the Motor Trade although candidates with strong academic qualifications that are looking to forge a career in accounts will also be considered. An attention to detail and excellent IT/spread sheet skills will however be essential to this position. Candidates with an existing AAT qualification or equivalent would be highly advantageous but it is non-essential and our client would also consider candidates that are still undergoing training for an accounts qualifications. Our Client also has a preference for someone with previous experience in an accountancy role within a Car Dealership.

For your hard work Our Client is offering a starting salary of £26,000 per year (salary negotiable pending experience) with 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, a company pension scheme, relevant training/development, Flexible working hours in the week could be school hours.
