A well-established and dynamic residential property lettings and management firm require an Accounts Assistant for immediate start on for 1 year’s contract. You will need to be a confident, pro-active and organised person capable of producing accurate paperwork and keeping proper records.
Your tasks will include preparing the banking, posting payments, raising invoices, setting up and closing accounts and bank reconciliation. You will also help with the inputting and preparation of the management accounts.
Accuracy, efficiency and care are required.
You will either need to have, or develop quickly, a good understanding of property management as we require a person who can understand the bigger picture and use that to deliver excellent customer service and prevent problems.
As the main point of contact for landlord clients querying payments, you will need a good telephone manner.
Experience in an accounts role is a necessity. GCSE level Maths grade C or above is required, or equivalent.
We use Gemini property management software and experience of this would be preferred although full training will be provided. We also use SAGE and Excel. Excellent computer skills are a necessity.
Hours are 24 hours a week spread over the working week to suit mutually both parties.
