Outreach Support Workers X2 (Early Years) – Family Support Charity

Do you have:
Qualification Minimum Level 2 qualification in early years
Experience – of working with young children and families

Home-Start is looking to employ two Outreach Support workers, with an Early Years background and an enthusiastic approach to working with young children and their families.

These posts will be seconded to work across several Children’s Centres in West Lancashire.

These posts will be initially funded up to 30th September 2015 with the possibility of further funding up to March 2016.

Salary: £26,000per year
Full time positions – Mon – Fri 9am – 5pm with occasional evenings/weekends as required

The Support Worker role will predominantly include delivering activities planned to EYFS in order to support the development and progression of young children relevant to their age and stage. Supporting parents and carers to understand the importance of their role in further developing their children’s learning through play will be key. A key function of the role is to support the Children’s Centre to deliver its core purpose around ensuring children are ‘Ready for School’ particularly those who are most in need.
