Order Processor

Our client is a leader in the manufacturing industry and exports across the globe. They are currently looking to fill two new vacancies the their Customer Service and Order Processing department.

Duties include: –

1) Deal With Telephone Enquiries:-

Order placement.
Order progress.
Proof of delivery request.
Invoice/Pricing queries.
Problem Solving. (Technical; Short Shipment; Incorrect product).

2) Process Orders:-

Raise order onto mainframe system.
Raise part numbers for any specials that are included in a BOM.
Raise PO onto supplier / Create production order onto Workshop.
Supply customer with an order acknowledgement. (E-mail).
Monitor stock situation for production orders / sub-contract orders.
Monitor progress of orders with relevant Production facility & advise customers of any delays. (Communicate any major delays to Team Leader). (Weekly basis).
Deal with any queries from relevant Production facility.
Maintain accurate delivery dates in orders.
Create BOM for frequently ordered products.

3) Offer product support to customers:-

Ability to navigate the catalogue.
Understand the main product groups & their areas of use.

4) Provide support to Quotation Team during busy / holiday periods.

5) General Administration work. (Update RiCRM; Filing etc.).
