Order Pickers

Smart Recruitment are currently supporting a local company that will have a spike in their order picking requirements in the run up to Christmas, and will need extra order picking / despatch staff from mid October until 24th December.

The company has an online platform that sells gifts for Christmas, and as such will see a huge increase in orders. We are looking to find them reliable and flexible order picking staff to help them with this uplift. It is a friendly team where everyone is made to feel part of it, including the Christmas party if you wish to attend following the completion of the assignment!

The work involves using a touch screen picking system, so you need to be confident with using a computer. The role may also involve standing for long periods when you are packing items, so please bear this in mind.

Hours of work vary, on day shift approx 8am – 5pm / 9am – 6pm, but we would like to find workers who could be flexible enough to work alternative hours, to be decided, but possibly 11am – 7pm or 12pm – 8pm. Overtime is paid for any hours worked on a Saturday, if you have worked all week, and breaks are also paid.
