Operational Excellence Manager R&D

A leading Global chemicals company are working with Ripe4 to find an Operational Excellence Manager to operate specifically within their Research and Development team, based out of the North West. This rapidly growing organisation offers a fantastic challenge to develop and action a Lean Transformation programme that will directly affect their entire R&D portfolio.

This role will provide a mixture of both a ‘hands-on’ approach coupled with developing their overall strategy. Focussed specifically within R&D your role will be to identify and implement ways of improving efficiency, as well as providing training and support to those working within that field. This is an international role – with the chance to impact the organisation on a global scale – so managing experience of running projects and experience in coaching and up-skilling others.

A background in chemicals or chemistry is essential, as is demonstrable experience of running six sigma projects at Black Belt level. You must also possess experience within research and development. You must be degree educated, preferably to Master’s level or above. You must have a track record of dedicated Lean experience and the drive an desire to work within a highly regulated industry.
