I am working with a leading multichannel retailer with a strong online presence to help them to recruit a European Ecommerce Merchandiser for their European Merchandising team.

Reporting to the Head of European Trading and Ecommerce, the European Ecommerce Merchandiser will be responsible for managing the day-to-day online trading across the company’s Internet channels through effective visual merchandising and trading of products online. With an ability to turn numbers and data into high sales, you will be promoting the business’s best loved lines and ranges and working with buyers to promote new products, managing stock levels and planning campaigns. The ecommerce team is fast paced and dynamic and the European Ecommerce Merchandiser will need to be forward thinking, resourceful and creative, along with being a gifted strategist, in order to drive profit growth and sales for this well known, well loved high street brand.

The Person

* Ideally with a background in fashion and definitely with a proven track record in online merchandising for an ecommerce retailer, the European Ecommerce Merchandiser will have managed planning processes (WSSI, sales, markdown, OTB, receipts etc) and will have demonstrable experience of critical path management, assortment and promotion planning
* Knowledge of building and controlling departmental budgets.
* Strong commercial acumen with a great head for figures
* Ambitious with a desire to push the boundaries to help the business to achieve their dream of being number one in their market
