Office Managers

Salary: £30,000 – £36,000 per year

Based in Sussex for over 20 years, HAYS Education offers high-quality supply teaching service, helping Schools with day to day cover as well as more long-term vacancies. We are dedicated in finding you work to suit your needs and availability.

The school is looking for a talented and dynamic Office Manager, who will support a busy Headteacher in the running of a highly ambitious school in the Brighton area. You will be a key member of staff and enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and child centred environment.

You must be adaptable and able to prioritise time sensitive jobs, be highly organised and a stickler for accuracy, and always demonstrate a positive and helpful attitude. The right candidate must be trustworthy and have excellent interpersonal skills when dealing with key stakeholders including governors, parents, communal leaders, colleagues, and children.

Skills you’ll need to succeed in this role:

– Computer literacy, including programs such as: Word, Excel, Publisher & Outlook.
– Ability to relate well to children and adults.
– Good communication and team working.
– Organisational skills are a must.
– Knowledge of school policies such as health & safety.
– Able to take instructions and willing to learn.
