We have recently opened a wonderful new 15 bed service in Chislehurst providing specialist residential rehabilitation for adults with an acquired brain injury or long-term neurological condition. We have an opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join our new service and be part of making Chislehurst the best place to work and provider of dedicated, supportive and fun care – join us and let’s make everyone’s day better!

What you’ll be working:
We can be flexible but you will work a total of 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday
What you’ll be doing:
- Liaise effectively with multidisciplinary team colleagues
- Keep up to date with new treatment methods and be actively involved in research projects relating to specialist area
- Provide support and guidance for junior staff and advice with complex cases where necessary assisting in the treatment of such cases
- Evaluate effectiveness of service and carry out audits where required
- Be responsible for department training and contribute to training and development of all staff
- Ensure risk management and safety procedures are in place for the OT Department and adhered to
- Provide highly specialist OT intervention for complex caseload in your specialist area
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with all colleagues, visitors and carers
What you’ll have:
- A relevant degree in Occupational Therapy
- HCPC Registration
