Occupational Therapist

Salary: £37,200 – £48,000 per year

Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist who has knowledge within Paediatrics/Pediatrics?

I am working with a Private Occupational Therapy Service, who are looking to add a new Pediatric OT to their existing team, due to rapid growth!

To be considered for this role applying therapists must have previous experience of working within a paediatric setting.

• You will be working with a varied caseload of children who have complex needs and conditions such as: Cerebral Palsy, Downs syndrome, Head Injuries, Spinal injuries, Muscular dystrophy, developmental delay, DCD, autism, Sensory processing difficulties, ADHD, fine motor and perceptual difficulties

Some duties within this post will include:

• Ensuring that young people are prepared for the transition to adult life
• Fine motor assessments 
• Managing own caseload efficiently
• Treating patients with complex needs, learning difficulties or biomechanical problems
• Liaising with other healthcare professionals

TO BE CONSIDERED YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING

• Relevant degree/qualifications in occupational therapy
• Current HCPC registration
• Previous experience working within a Pediatric/Paediatric service 
• Encouraging attitude
• Ability to think outside the box 

The post is available to start as soon as possible, with full time hours per week on a permanent basis, offering a starting salary between Band 5 – Band 7 depending upon experience.
