Salary: £26,000 per year
Nursery Nurse – Uxbridge – c £26,000 per year dependant on experience, Permanent Role. Benefits include 28 days annual leave, occupancy related bonus targets, discounted childcare, and company pension contributions.

As a Nursery Nurse you will be confident in your ability to engage with and inspire children within the nursery.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Consistently deliver and plan rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps all children to develop and meet their individual needs.
* Make accurate and effective assessments, which reflect the needs, interests, and stages of development of the child by supporting the delivery of the key person approach.
* Ensuring and enabling environment is providing consistent stimulating and inspiring activities for the children in both the indoor and outdoor area as a continuous provision.
* Ensure that British Values are incorporated and demonstrated through Early Years Foundation Stage learning and play.
* Safeguard and promote the health, safety, and welfare of children in line with our child protection and keeping everyone safe policies and procedures.
* Ensure internal policies and procedures are adhered whilst also meeting the external legislation and guidelines from our governing bodies.
* Promote and follow guidelines implemented for managing behaviour including supporting children to manage their own feelings and behaviours.
* Continually work in partnership with colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals to meet the individual needs of the children ensuring a diverse and inclusive approach is always maintained.
Experience, skills, and knowledge required for the role.
* qualification – NVQ level 3 in Childcare and Education or equivalent
* at least 3yrs experience of working with children from 3months to 5yrs
* an understanding of good quality childcare
* ability to provide and facilitate safe, stimulating activities and environments
* ability to communicate at all levels – written and verbal
* ability to work in a team
* a working knowledge of ‘Birth to Three Matters’
* a current first aid at work certificate
* excellent customer service skills
* self-motivation and ambition
* good organisational skills
* a results-driven approach to work
* decision-making and problem-solving skills
