Fantastic opportunity for a Deputy Manager to join this Brand New Nursery setting in Stratford
We are looking for a full time Deputy Manager – the successful candidate needs to be experienced, with leadership skills.
The nursery is due to open in May 2021 and as Deputy Manager your position will start as soon as possible so you can set up and lead in the vital pre opening stages. This setting oozes character, creativity and has a unique approach to the early years curriculum
As Deputy Manager you must be a strong leader with experience, the role involves leading and nurturing a new team, role modelling high quality childcare across the nursery whilst supporting the manager in the day to day running of the nursery.
The Deputy Managers role will also be to support room based educators in developing and enhancing performance in order to deliver outstanding practice
Competitive annual salary up to £36,360per annum. All salaries are dependent on qualifications and experience.
About you –
* Full and relevant childcare qualification – NNEB, CACHE L3, NVQ L3 or above
* Clear and Enhanced DBS check
* Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation
* Knowledge of OFSTED standards and inspection framework
* Excellent knowledge of the EYFS
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines
* Excellent time management skills
* Strong people management skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Previous relevant supervisory experience
