An exciting opportunity for any aspiring Tutors who would like to develop and progress whilst in a Trainee Tutor specialising in Maths role on a permanent, full-time basis based at HMP Wealstun.

What the role entails

As an aspiring Tutor you will develop and deliver high quality, learner focused education to meet contractual requirements and standards, in line with Novus policies and procedures, supporting learners and colleagues alike to ensure the best outcome for all who work within our sector.

What we need from you

  • Willing to develop and work towards Level 5 Certificate in Education
  • Willing to develop and work towards subject specialism in Maths or English.
  • Aspire to develop in the role as a Maths or English Teacher
  • Hold at least a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and
  • Numeracy
  • Gain/hold and maintain a clean, enhanced Disclosure and
  • Barring Service (DBS) check
  • Enthusiasm and commitment to a career in teaching
