About the role

A Network Support Engineer is responsible for providing technical assistance and support to ensure the smooth operation of computer networks for customers. Their primary focus is on troubleshooting and resolving network issues, maintaining network infrastructure, and supporting network users. The Network Support Engineer will be responsible for maintaining clients’ networks, including Ethernet LANs and WANs, routers, switches, firewalls, and WiFi on a variety of platforms (Juniper, Cisco, Fortinet, and Meraki, to name a few). To fulfil client orders, you will own and manage support cases on our Service Now platform, as well as use network management tools to support customer networks and develop and implement common network provisioning activities. Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and WiFi access points. Collaborate with other support teams such as the Service Desk, Voice, Projects, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Applications. You may be required to attend customer sites and visit remote sites; therefore a full UK driving license is essential.

What will you bring?

  • Experiencing of installing and supporting Cisco , Juniper ,
  • Fortinet networking LAN and WAN solutions .
  • Experiencing of monitoring tools like LogicMonitor ,
  • Observium would be an advantage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good technical ability with a solid grounding in routing, switching, security , WiFi products and technologies
  • Have a can-do attitude, be pro-active, enthusiastic and be able to pick up and learn new technologies in a fast moving dynamically changing environment.
