Night Shift Supervisor

Salary: £43,200 – £49,200 per year

Inspire Resourcing are recruiting for a Night Shift Supervisor to work for this highly reputable Engineering Company based in Chesterfield.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Supervisor to join the current team. This role requires you to have an Engineering background and would suit someone who is interested in managing teams and reducing waste.

Duties

* Take full responsibility for the shift

* Have a positive attitude in all aspects of your work

* Manage, develop, and motivate direct reporting staff

* Administer first line discipline as and when required

* Conduct and record return to work interviews for every period of absence

* Monitor employee performance and ensure feedback is given

* Support Continuous improvement activities by being directly involved in projects

* Be actively involved in customer complaint investigations as and when required

* Ensure good communication is given, either verbally or written

* Carry out written production handovers

* Company resources are used effectively and efficiently, highlighting any issues of concerns

To apply for the role of NIGHTS Shift Supervisor role you will ideally:

Understand Health and Safety and able to encourage other to adhere to standards

Trained staff

Be able to ensure 5s is carried out on the shop floor

Waste mapping skills

Have experience in HR duties including appraisals

HSE training

Hours are 10pm – 6am

Salary: 35-41K
