Our client is a rapidly growing, forward thinking organization and requires a hands-on Manager to run a fast paced distribution centre at night.

This role will suit someone with previous experience of implementing operational improvements, forward planning and developing staff.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the whole night operation team on the night shift – providing regular briefings
• Develop and motivate team members
• Ensure the depot is Health & Safety compliant at all times
• Ensure targets are achieved through continuous monitoring of performance against KPI’s
• Stand in for the Operations Manager as required.

You will need the following experience/skills:

• Strong people management skills – able to develop and motivate your team
• Experience ideally gained within a 3PL/retail or FMCG warehousing environment, at Shift Manager level or above.
• Strong planning skills
• Able to work with a WMS system

The night shift runs from 10pm – 6am, including some weekends. You will be working 5 out of 7 days (40 hour week).
