NHS Head of Infrastructure

NHS Head of Infrastructure required for 3-6 month contract based in Surrey.

Working for a well-established NHS organisation as Head of Infrastructure, you will be responsible for ensuring a complete fit-for-purpose IT Infrastructure across the Trust, providing technical leadership and consulting, incorporating all IT based technologies.

You will be responsible for the operational side of the Infrastructure, managing the technical delivery of day to day server, network and infrastructure applications operations. This incorporates the following technologies and their associated services:
*Servers
*Storage
*Networks
*Telephony
*Directory Services
*Infrastructure Applications
*Databases
*End User Devices

Responsibilities will also include management and supervision of day do day team operations, including management of infrastructure personnel, building end-user relationships whilst improving IT Projects scoping and initial project planning. You will also ensure that SLA’s are being met within the Service Desk and Infrastructure teams, producing documentation and monitoring technical resource schedules.

For this role you need to have previous experience as a Head of IT / Head of Infrastructure within an NHS environment. Rates are negotiable but likely to be in the region of £360 – £480 per day (ltd/umbrella).
