I am currently recruiting for an experienced Network Engineer based in Croydon and the chance to work for a highly sought after IT consultancy company.

I am recruiting on behalf of one of our best clients in Croydon, who not only have some of the best job roles in the market but, offer a fantastic work ethic.

As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for analysing, designing, installing and maintaining network infrastructures and application components. Additionally, you will be accountable for a variety of evaluation and training tasks to ensure the network performance meets company and customer satisfaction.

Essential Requirements:

Technical, analytical and interpersonal skills required for Network Design and Implementation, Network Troubleshooting and Project work

Current CCNP certification

Knowledge of VoIP implementation

Maintain network security through proper configuration of VPN and Firewalls

Ability to communicate in an understandable, polite and friendly manner, both written and verbal

Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a busy business environment

Availability in response to needs of the customer for installation, maintenance and equipment malfunctions

Knowledge of Cisco ASA, Checkpoint, Fortinet SonicWall, Watchguard and Netscreen firewalls

Advanced knowledge of internal and external routing protocols – OSPF / BGP / EIGRP
