The Company
A leading Consultancy and Managed Services Provider requires an experienced Network Consultant to deliver business critical projects across their core services.
The Role
The primarily field based Network Consultant is responsible for the design and delivery of enterprise level network solutions, you MUST have prior experience in the design of Public Sector Networks.
Responsibilities
Co-ordinate technical expertise to specify equipment and estimate consulting days required
Responsible for development and finalisation of proposal content, RFIs, RFPs, ITTs
Solution design within area of expertise
Act as focal point for knowledge sharing between sales and engineering teams
The Person
You will be a commercial individual and have experience with working in the service provider space as technical Presales of a Senior Engineer. You should be certified in either Cisco or Juniper or equivalent or be able to demonstrate that their skills and experience reflect this level of qualification.
Fundamental to this role:
Vendor Agnostic
An excellent understanding of Network design
Strong appreciation for routing, switching
Exceptional communication skills
Excellent written English
A results-orientated ethos, able to apply knowledge and skills in the pursuit of sales objectives
A flexible approach, Travel and ‘go the extra mile’ to meet proposal, client and internal deadlines
