National HR Manager

Interim National HR Manager- 3 month contract

Starting early June – Salary circa £78,000pro rata

National role with extensive travel and nights away.

Our client a national retail business is looking for a highly experienced transactional HR Manager to work with the business on a three month contract. The successful candidate would be expected to hit the ground running and deal with a wide range of on-going projects, you’ll quickly need to assess priorities and lead to resolve outstanding matters include benefits administration, revising and publishing workplace policies, and investigating workplace issues, to address the specific HR issues around retirement, health & welfare, compensation (including pensions) programs and other HR projects. We are searching for an exceptional HR Leader with a wide functional knowledge, attention to detail with excellent relationship building and influencing skills. Someone who focuses on the big picture and the details, motivating others, and producing results.

Person Specification

Ideally CIPD qualified with significant experience in all aspects of transaction HR and benefits
Preferred would be senior HR Generalists who have some experience of working within a large national retail business
A resilient and credible people manager who is keen to develop and mentor.
Commercially astute, able to think on their feet and not afraid to make decisions.
