Multi Skilled Technician – Joinery / Plastering Bias

Salary: £36,000 – £42,000 per year

This is a permanent, full-time role for an experienced Multiskilled Technician with a Joinery/ Plastering bias, ideally with a background in damp proofing and timber treatment to join a wonderful, established family business, specialising in property care, preservation and waterproofing.

This privately owned company have been at the forefront of the damp & timber treatment industry for over 50 years and is now looking for a multi-skilled Technician with the technical ability to take on this varied and interesting position, where no day is ever the same!

MULTI SKILLED TECHNICIANS – JOINERY / PLASTERING BIAS

LOCATION: Based in the South East, you will have easy access to Greater London. You will ideally be accessible to SW London, Slough, Windsor, Maidenhead, Reading, Bracknell, Ascot, Heathrow, Hounslow, Weybridge, Southall, West London, M4 Corridor.

*A full UK driving licence is required*

SALARY: £36,000 – £42,000 plus benefits, Company Van, PPE & tools, company pension, healthcare cash plan, happy birthday holiday, monthly bonuses, loyalty awards, access to support & training.

HOURS: Full Time, 8am – 5pm, Monday – Friday, occasional overtime available.

Working as part of a small, friendly, close-knit team with a great team spirit, carrying out instructed damp and timber treatment on residential and commercial properties, liaising with the surveyor, you will be mainly carrying out waterproofing, timber treatment and joinery work, some plastering and other construction duties that require your technical skills, to diagnose or treat dry rot / woodworm / damp.

It would be advantageous if you understood the preservation industry, but the most important things are your all-round joinery / carpentry / building skills and NVQ Level 2 qualification.

You will be a Multi Skilled Technician, confident in all aspects of joinery, carpentry, plastering and on-site construction (CSCS card required), able to work accurately and safely to plans. You will take real pride in the quality of your workmanship, whilst still maintaining the energy to work at a fast pace to ensure works are completed on time, to the required standards.

Your background is likely to be in the building trade, 1st Fix Joinery and on-site Construction.
