Our Client is a well-known specialist based in the Wakefield area who supply the Automotive sector. Over the last few months, they have continued to see excellent sales and growth within the business. They are urgently looking to hire a flexible Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer who is electrically biasd to help bolster their production.

The successful Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer will be proactive in their work and support the Engineering department in maintaining and repairing the machinery

Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer’s Role

Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, the Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer will have a varied workload and autonomy to make their own choices to ensure their work is completed in a timely fashion.

Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer’s Main Duties

* Fault find on a range of electrical and mechanical equipment

* Offer solutions to improve machine avalibility through improved repairs

* Ensure all safety protocol is carried out correctly

* Complete preventative Mechanical Maintenance and service work

* Carry out effective repairs to machinery/ equipement to ensure minimal downtime

Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer Essential Qualifications.

* Mechanical Engineer Apprenticeship or equivalent

* Electrical qualification HNC/HND would be an advantage

* Basic competence/operation of workshop equipment lathe/miller

Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer Desirable Qualifications

* Minimum 5 years expereince in a fast paced manufacturing enviroment

* Experience and knowledge of PLC and HMI instrumentation (preffered)

* Elecircal Bias (Essential)

* Have a good understanding & knowledge in reading electrical schematics
