A leading food manufacturer is recruiting for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer at their facility in Winsford, Cheshire. Working a continental shift pattern (4 on 4 off either permanent days or permanent nights) the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineers must be from a food background with experience of conveyors, mixers, ovens, freezers, check weighers, and baggers.

Job Description

The Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineers will be responsible for the following:

– Reactive and Planned Preventative scheduled maintenance on site
– Solving solutions on new and old equipment.
– Working closely with production.
– Working on new lines.

-Being proactive in ensuring good health & safety on site

All applicants must have a NVQ3 (or equivalent) and have worked within an food environment on stated equipment. A meat background would be ideal.

The Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineers should also have experience / skills / background in:

– Lean Manufacturing
– Packaging Machinery
– Good PLC knowledge
– Conveyors, mixers, ovens, freezers, check weighers, and baggers
