Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

My client is a market-leading, independent FMCG manufacturing exportign their products on global basis. With several sites around the UK, my client seeks a Electrically biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their Norfolk operation.

The site is a24/7 manufacturing facility and requires a Maintenance Engineer to join the existing maintenance department in providing:

– Preventative maintenance
– Electrical/PLC maintenance
– Basic welding/facilities maintenance/handy work
– CMMS
– Fault finding
– Continuous Improvement actions.

Working initially on a day shift basis before moving to a three shift (early/standard/lates, note: no nights pattern), you will also work on a call-out pattern and as such you must live within a 30 mile radius of their site.

A physically demanding role,this is a large site and requires a candidate happy and able to work outside, at height, in confined spaces and working in both warm and cold temperatures.

To be considered for the role, it is essential that you possess demonstrable multi-skilled Maintenance engineering experience in a large-scale manufacturing facility. Candidates with experience in a process based environment would be preferred. Other essential hiring requirements include:

– 17th edition certification
– PLC systems knowledge
– HND (or equivalent) In an engineering discipline
– Basic welding experience
– Mechanical engineering knowledge and expertise
