Multi – Drop Driver / Warehouse Operative

Adecco in Bolton are managing the recruitment of a multi skilled Warehouse Operative to support our client in the following functions: Multi-Drop driving, FLT Driving and general Warehouse duties.

Our client is seeking a confident, approachable and well presented candidate to join their team.

In this role you will split your time between warehouse days working 9am – 5pm and Multi drop driving days working on flexible hours, to beat the traffic.

Within the warehouse your responsibilities will include:
– FLT driving.
– Picking and packing all orders ready for the next day delivery.
– Ensure stock is rotated.
– Reporting all damages and low stock levels.
– Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean and tidy with all fire exits clear at all times.
– Company stock takes,

Driving responsibilities include:
– Acting in a professional, helpful and approachable manner whilst on site with clients, acting as the face of the company and building customer relations.
– Ensuring all goods are delivered to the correct place on the correct day.
– Assisting customers where required with putting stock away and removing any unwanted boxes.
– Report any customer issues or competitor activity.
– Ensure all paper work relating to deliveries and fuel is completed accurately.
– Basic vehicle maintenance and safety checks. Ensure vans are kept clean.

Key skills, experience and requirements.
– Experience in a multi – drop delivery function.
– Full UK Driving license.
– FLT License.
– Experience in a warehouse setting.
– Smart, approachable and flexible nature.
