Salary: £120 per day
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Multidrop Parcel Delivery Driver for one of our parcel courier routes, working out of a depot in Aylesham. This is a self-employed position and an opportunity to join one of the country’s best parcel delivery companies.
The role:
* Working Monday to Saturday, starting at 07:30am (5 and 6 day weeks required).
* Loading your van ready for the day, carefully planning for your route.
* Delivering 120+ stops per day, following company processes and procedures at all times.
* Following predetermined routes, indicated via an app (smart phone required) which will also direct you via the built-in SatNav and routing system.
* Paid on a stop rate, the earnings are uncapped and the best drivers earn more. After costs, our driver’s average earnings easily exceed £120 per day, with some regularly exceeding £150.00+ per day. This is after all costs, including fuel!
* You will be assigned your own route, which you will get to know well over time – this maximises your ability to deliver more and therefore earn more.
* Vehicle and insurance is supplied at a cost of £31 per day. Fuel is not covered.
About you:
* You should have previous experience as a multidrop driver, preferably in a 3.5t van and on a busy route (120+ stops). This is due to the high volume and physical demands of the role.
* You will require your own Smart Phone in order to use the App.
* Previous knowledge of the Sittingbourne and Sheerness areas would be an advantage, but this is not essential due to the routing system provided. You will learn your route quickly.
* Full UK driver’s license required with no more than 6 points. Some endorsements are accepted.
* For insurance purposes, you must be over the age of 21
* You should be flexible as to your working pattern and finish times, particularly during busy periods.
* You must be motivated and driven to earn as much as you can – the best drivers earn more!
