Motor Finance Underwriter

Salary: £15.6 – £19.2 per hour

Kind Consultancy is working with one of the UK’s leading challenger banks which is currently seeking Underwriters to join their Motor Finance division, based in their West Midlands offices. As part of their ongoing success and growth, they are looking to add 2 full-time Underwriters and 1 part-time Underwriter, working flexibly between home and the office.

As a Motor Finance Underwriter, you will be:

* Assessing customers’ ability to repay loans

* Making credit decisions in line with company criteria, credit policy and service level agreements

* Ensuring consistently excellent customer journies

* Liaising with Motor Dealerships and Brokers, assisting with queries and building strong working relationships

* Gathering all required information for customer applications

Candidates for the Motor Finance Underwriter opportunity must have previous Motor Finance underwriting experience, as well as very strong IT and administration skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
