Montessori Nursery Practitioner and Deputy Nursery Manager, Hampstead, NW6 1XP
We are looking for high calibre Nursery Practitioners to join our client’s wonderful Montessori School and nursery based in Hampstead. This is a great opportunity for an experienced, passionate, and enthusiastic educator to progress in their career and join a successful team and Montessori setting
Our clients Montessori School is situated in Lymington Road, Hampstead. It is a perfect location for the Hampstead, Swiss Cottage and West Hampstead areas of north London. The settings provide care and learning for children from birth to 3 years old. The small class sizes create a friendly, welcoming environment where children have the freedom to choose their work and discover their own individual interests, supported by a team of qualified teachers.
Salary Guide: £26,000 – £27,600per year depending on experience and qualifications, to be discussed at interview stage.
Montessori Practitioner – Days/Hours: Monday – Friday 7.30am to 4.30pm, all year round. 6 weeks holiday a year over Christmas, Easter, and Summer.
Montessori Practitioner Requirements:
Ideally you will hold a full and relevant Montessori Qualification (Montessori Diploma or AMI 0-3 Graduate) or be willing to train and develop their career in this area
A full and relevant Level 3 or higher qualification in childcare is essential
Experience in a Montessori setting
Experience working with Toddlers
Good knowledge of the EYFS, Safeguarding and Ofsted requirements
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Enthusiastic, passionate, and full of ideas to encourage learning and developmentYou will have a calm and patient manner and work well in a small team. You will be willing to go that extra mile and be a committed and motivated member of the team.
We will consider those outstanding applicants with no relevant Montessori qualification, but you will be providing a supporting role and it is essential you will be willing and committed to train and gain a qualification in Montessori practice in the future.
Montessori Practitioner Responsibilities:
To assist with planning of the curriculum
To be a key-person to a small group of children
To teach children and prepare them for school
To advise management of any concerns regarding children
