Salary: £24 – £28.8 per hour
My client looking for a Model Maker / Laminator / Pattern Manufacturer builds driveable and non-driveable vehicle prototypes. Based in the Midlands the role will is a contract role initially for 500 hours but may be extended.
The role of the Model Maker / Laminator / Pattern Manufacturer is to support the Model Shop in the manufacture and assembly of Automotive Prototype models and related parts for Customers.
The Model maker / Laminator / Pattern Manufacturer responsibilities will include:
– Block Ups
– Fabrication / Engineering platform
– Armature Build Ups
– Donor Vehicle Strip Down / Vehicle build
– Hands on surface development
– Fibre glass lay-up / Epoxy resin laminating / Filling / Priming
– Create 3D Models
– Production of Clinic Cars
– Full Interior and External mock ups
– Full Size Automotive Bucks
The Model Maker / Laminator / Pattern Manufacturer will be able to utilise a full range of materials – wood, uriel, metal, foam and clay.
Working Hours for the Model Maker / Laminator / Pattern Manufacturer
Monday – Thursday – 08:00am – 16:30pm
Friday – 08:00am – 12:15pm
This contract role is easily commutable from Coventry, Warwick, Birmingham, Northampton, Leicester, Worcester
