Marine Laminator

Salary: £27.6 per hour

Our prestigious, manufacturing client, based in Wroxham, are currently seeking Marine Laminators to join their a highly reputable company and works as part of a multi-skilled team.

This is a full time, permanent position.

As the Marine Laminator, you will understand the high quality of work required and the meticulous attention to detail our client requires.

You will ideally you will have relevant experience in the marine industry. For more junior Marine Laminator jobs, are client are also offering self-motivated individuals the opportunity to get the training and mentorship you need to build your career in this exciting and engaging business.

Duties include:

• Mould tool preparation including polishing, waxing, fitting implants and mods
• Preparing their workstation
• Finalising the laminating
• Reading and interpreting drawings / specification
• Hand lay-up with polyester and vinylester resins
• Preparing and executing gel coating
• Laying down e-glass, gluing core and fitting structural elements
• Safely utilising knowledge of Composite materials, including e-glass, catalyst and resin mixing
• Once completed job, clearing, tidying and cleaning of area and focusing on the utmost hygiene and cleanliness
