Due to organic growth across a handful of key contracts in the Midlands, our client is looking to bolster its mobile engineering team with the addition of a M&E Engineer, who will play a crucial role in ensuring PPM & reactive maintenance duties are met across the Midlands. The ideal candidate will be based within an hour of the North East Midlands area and will come from a building services or maintenance background, and will have ideally worked in a similar mobile position before, although not essential.

Our client is an SME with a strong reputation across the Midlands and have recently expanded their brand to the North of England with the opening of new office space as a testament to year-on-year growth over the past few years. This is a ripe opportunity to join a rapidly growing business with some seriously strong short and long term ambitions, where candidates with an aptitude to progress could quite easily find themselves climbing through the ranks very quickly.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a number of contracts across the North East Midlands area, and will be expected to visit anywhere between 5-10 properties a week, consisting of commercial office space, educational facilities & retail. Candidates should also have experience of working on AHU’s, FCU’s, pumps, motors, emergency lighting, water treatment, cooling towers, generators, UPS systems, BMS controls etc.

In addition to a fully expensed vehicle (fuel, insurance, parking etc.) our client is offering a remuneration of £38,400 – £42,000with a 1:4 call out rota in place offering an additional £1,500 per year, plus plenty of overtime available for those who want to boost their earnings further.
