Salary: £17.4 per hour

Mobile Fabric Engineer 

Thorn Baker EFM are looking for a Fabric Engineer with a Carpentry bias and a full UK license in the Wimbledon area to carry out maintenance works for a well established maintenance company that we have been working with for over 10 years. They are looking for a Fabric Engineer for a brand new educational contract they have won in the Wimbledon area. 

The Job:

This position is on a temp to perm basis after 13 weeks for the right candidate and the position is due to a new contract win. They are looking for someone with multi skilled fabric skills with a carpentry bias to carry out scheduled PPMS as well as reactive maintenance for 4 schools in the Wimbledon area. The schools are only a few miles away from each other so travel between sites will be minimal

Duties include:

Pay rate: £17.4per hour PAYE – equivalent to a £30k salary 
Shift patterns: Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm 
Mobile role
A van is provided by the company plus a fuel card. 
Call out rota of 1 in 4 changing to 1 in 6 once they have a full team.

About You:

Full UK Driving License
Enhanced DBS or willing to complete prior to starting
Health & Safety Training
Experience with similar maintenance duties in a commercial environment
Able to work in a team and independently
