Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer

My client is a leading provider of M&E building services engineering and facilities management, providing a high specification client base with tailored and bespoke technical solutions.

A Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer is required to carry out PPM, servicing, fault finding and breakdown repairs to commercial gas heating systems within a variety of client environments to include (not limited to) office accommodation, corporate buildings and retail facility environments located throughout West Yorkshire.

In addition to heating systems the successful candidate will also be expected to carry out additional duties as required i.e. basic ‘first-look’ at HVAC systems i.e. AHU & FCU and building maintenance as needed i.e. basic plumbing and building fabric maintenance.

Essential Candidate Requirements & Additional Information

Commercial ACS Gas: COCN1, CODNCO1, ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, CORT1 TPCP1a
Possess strong servicing, fault finding and repair skills
Possess a sound knowledge and understanding of commercial gas & heating systems
Further training/qualifications/background further to the position of a Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer
Driving License (Maximum 6 Penalty Points)

£36,000 – £37,000
Company Vehicle i.e. Van or Estate Car (Subject to fleet availability) Reasonable personal use permitted
Call-out rota working is essential and this is approx. 1 – 4
Call-out runs from Friday – Friday
Pension Scheme (Contributory)
£100.00 paid for being on call. An extra £25.00 is paid if being on call was to fall on a bank holiday.
If called out paid at a minimum of 4 hours at time & a half
Overtime: Time & Half after 16.30. Saturday: Time & Half after the 4 first hours & Sunday: Double Time & Double Time on a Bank Holiday.
30 minute travel time each way
