Industrial Personnel are now hiring a MOB Surveyor for our client based across the West Midlands (Birmingham, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Worcester). This is an exciting opportunity to join an established team, supporting various activities as a MOB surveyor.

Job Description

* Assist in the creation of an annual programme of projects.

* Carry out on-site surveys.

* Provide client information to meet the requirements of CDM 2015 Mains Replacement in the collation of PCI utilising bespoke systems.

* Collate information on site in relation to traffic management requirements, traffic orders, parking bay suspensions, works durations, MOB’s, types and size of gas services, high occupancy buildings, schools, permit conditions, vulnerable customers, other utility or building work, water courses and bridges, and any other site aspect as directed.

* Identify all on site hazards and risks associated with the project including a full photographic / video record as required.

* Conduct 100% door knock on I&C and domestic dwellings to ascertain load data, material, and pipe sizing, and GSMR review of the meter installation.

The Person

The ideal candidate for the position of MOB Surveyor would possess the following qualifications, experience, and personal attributes.

* CCN1 or CESP1 or CMA1 or Level 2 Diploma in Smart Metering Qualification.

* MET1 or MET2.

* Experience of Permit Schemes / NRWSA Noticing schemes.

* Experience of compiling preconstruction information for the purpose of CDM.

* Good understanding of general site safety and environmental policy.

* Be presentable and have excellent customer service skills.

* Have effective communication skills.

* Minimum 1-year experience in the Gas Industry and work to a very high standard.

* Be a good timekeeper.

* Have good administration skills.

* Have a flexible approach to your working hours.

* A valid UK driving licence is also essential.

* The ideal candidate would be able to provide their own basic tool kit. Specialist equipment will be provided by the company.

Working Hours
Monday – Friday
08:00-16:30
40 hours per week (overtime available, paid at £20PH)
