Microbiology Expert

Hobson Prior are currently seeking for a Microbiology Expert to join a brilliant biotech establishment on a contract basis located in Wrexham. Our client is focused on life-changing remedies for various therapeutic areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guarantee all work is carried out in a safe manner.
• Recognise and initiate out of specification as well as out of trend outcomes and unplanned event investigations rendering to present processes.
• Contribute to the implementation of validation studies and project work.
• The ideal candidate will record and uphold QC microbiological data in a compliant state.
• For this role, you will conduct microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process and final product of microbial contamination within needed time frames.
• Uphold specifies work fields in the lab within a compliance state.
• You will offer training in general microbial strategies.
• Uphold a high level of housekeeping within the lab.
• Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Educated to a degree level in a scientific discipline or obtained HND or similar experience.
• Familiarity within a microbiology lab role or within a cGMP production setting.
• Fluency in the English language.
• Knowledge in Aseptic techniques and gowning.
• Know-how of US/EU cGMPs as implemented to biopharmaceutical testing and their practical application.
• Acquaintance with working within a matrix establishment.
