Medical Devices Account Manager

Salary: £54,000 – £60,000 per year

Excellent package including open ended commission, generous car allowance and pension, healthcare, gym membershipTHE ROLE: As an Account Manager you will sell a range of contrast media and media injection equipment into NHS and private hospitals. The products are manufactured to an exceptionally high standard in Europe and have a superb reputation in the market! Key customers will include radiologists, radiographers, cardiologists and procurement.

Around 50% of your time will be spent prospecting new business, targeted on achieving £2.6M in revenue across your territory. Lead times can be up to a year, this is a consultative sales position. As this is a technical sales role, candidates must have sold equipment like this before, medical imaging experience will enhance your application. You will need to sit ABPI exam if you do not already hold this qualification.

You must have a scientific or clinical background to be suitable for this role. With regards to progression, there is management potential next year. They have recently acquired a new cardiovascular company – your career will progress as the company grows!

REQUIREMENTS:

A successful track record of selling medical equipment or devices
Any experience within medical imaging would be very beneficial
An independent, strategic mindset and strong team player
A science based degree and ideally ABPI qualified

THE PACKAGE:

Basic: £45,000 to £50,000
Bonus £9,000 – 10,000 OTE plus over performance accelerators
Car: £9,000 allowance
