Salary: £36,000 – £38,400
Location: West Sussex
An expanding Medical Device manufacturer based in West Sussex is looking for a Quality Engineer to support the QARA Team in the development of the Quality Management System.
Quality Engineer / Quality Specialist: £30,000 -£32,000
* Manage or assist customer complaints and complaint reporting.
* Manage the control process, identify and implement system improvements.
* Ensure the company is informed and has up-to-date information on all applicable and necessary specifications and standards.
* Maintain manufacturing record databases and files as necessary.
* Maintain organised and clear workstations (including lab areas) following 5s principles and run or assist with 5s initiatives including audits where applicable.
* Use of Lean and 6 sigma tools and techniques as required including DFMEA, PFMEA SPC, design of experiments and root cause analysis
* Manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) and lead CAPA teams as necessary.
* Lead continuous improvement (CI) projects or assist with continuous improvement initiatives and communicate progress to CI teams with regards to key KPIs including waste and customer complaints.
You do not need specific Engineering Qualifications to be suited to this post.
