Mechanical Psv Fitter

I am recruiting on behalf of my client who is looking for 2 PSV mechanical Fitters for immediate start on this temp/ possibly to perm role for the right candidate

Job Purpose

Working as fully skilled mechanic within a small team ensuring that our fleet of buses and coaches and cars are available to provide a service to our clients

Main Duties and Responsibilities

To carrying out any duties as and when directed by your line manager including assisting in all aspects of:

* Vehicle maintenance and care

* Helping to prepare and present vehicles for MOT

* Rectification of daily Driver defects

* Ensuring that all administration including; work sheets/service sheets/defect sheets are completed with sign off including all parts used

* Ensuring that the workshop is left clean, tidy and ready for work after each job

Working a shift system to support the business needs which may be amended with a reasonable amount of notice. You are also required to work on a call out rota.

Work as a team player supporting the wider team.

Attain your PCV licence with support from the training team.

You will adhere to the Health and Safety At Work Act in all aspects of your work.

Undertake and complete all aspects of learning required to be enable you to understand the PSV industry and its vehicles.
