Mechanical Project Manager

Salary: £26,000 per year

Aylin White have been tasked with sourcing a Mechanical Project Manager by one of London’s largest Building Services Contractors for a flagship new build office block in Central London.

Our client is part of a building firm with a £1.2bn turnover in London alone. They work on many prestigious and landmark projects with M&E values of over £50m. The company has a reputation for being one of the most well run and professional contractors in the country so the Mechanical Project Manager must be comfortable in highly professional environments. The Mechanical Project Manager would need to be someone who has a great work ethic and wants to complete projects to the highest of standards.

The ideal candidate could be someone looking to step up from a Senior Mechanical Engineer role or someone who already has experience running projects as a Mechanical Project Manager. The role would be reporting to a Senior Project Manager on site. Experience on shell and core projects is preferred.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Mechanical Project Manager will be tasked with reviewing designs to ensure compliance with specifications

Completing Technical Submittals

RFIs

The Mechanical Project Manager will need to liaise with the Main Contractor and site teams

Client meetings

*

Attend meetings with designers, specialist contractors and internal team members and produce reports

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND

*

Experience as a Mechanical Project Engineer/Project Manager on projects with M&E values of over £5m

*

Someone who is comfortable in front of clients

*

A Mechanical Project Manager/Engineer who has worked on commercial shell and core projects
