Mechanical Inspector

Salary: £26.4 per hour

Job Description:

Seeking a Quality Inspector to be based on-site supporting a customer program in Nottingham. The desired candidate will have previous experience in working in an Aerospace Inspection role, performing inspection to engineering drawings, customer purchase order, industry standards and specifications.

The support will include:

Visual, documentation and packaging checks

Part serialisation checks
Dimensional inspection of suspect parts
Review and approval (stamp-off) of CofCs
SAP updates Experience requirements:

Must have a minimum of 3-years previous experience within an aerospace manufacturing environment
Strong hands-on inspection experience, using various mechanical inspection tools, such as micrometers and calipers
Knowledge / experience of AS9100 standards highly advantageous
Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
Previous experience of SAP advantageous
Ability to prioritise workload, and meet stringent deadlines.
Based in a commutable distance of Nottingham 37 hours per week

The role falls inside IR35.
