Mechanical Fitter

Adecco Recruitment in Kendal require an experienced Mechanical Fitter to assist with the safe decommissioning of production and packaging machinery in a large manufacturing site situated in Barrow-in-Furness.

This is a temporary role expected to last until June. The successful applicant will have a mechanical degree coupled with proven experience working with production / automated or packaging machinery, such as S iemens S7, and the ability to understand technical drawings. The machinery will need to be broken down methodically and correctly to enable the correct re-installation at another site.

The pay rate is £15per hour, working 40 hours per hour, 5 days over 7 on a shift basis which may involve some night shifts. We require someone as soon as possible until approx June 2015. Due to location, your own transport is required.
