Mechanical Engineer
Toro Recruitment is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join a well-established and fast-growing Engineering company in North London specialising in providing engineering solutions for a variety of UK water companies. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be undertaking all aspects of mechanical engineering duties such as installing, modifying, repairing and servicing equipment within the water utilities network.

The responsibilities of the Mechanical Engineer will include:
* Working with pipework, pumps, compressors, control panels and PLC’s.
* Installation, modification, repair and servicing of various equipment on the water network.
* Be capable of working as part of a team and individually on their own initiative, ensuring they always promote the company in a good light.
* Communicating with Stakeholders at all levels.
Requirements
* Be competent in working with hand tools, operating power tools and display basic mechanical knowledge such as flange bolting, gaskets, pipe installation and testing, equipment operation and fault finding.
* Have previous Mechanical Engineering experience working on the clean / wastewater network.
* Be able to work at height, work underground in confined spaces and be able to cope with the physical demands of the job.

* A salary of £32,400 – £38,400.
