Position Summary: As a Mechanical Engineer/Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be an integral part of the engineering team, responsible for designing and developing mechanical components for projects within the nuclear, renewable, and oil & gas sectors. The role requires on-site presence, ensuring hands-on collaboration with their multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Utilize your expertise in mechanical engineering to design and develop components for projects in the nuclear, renewable, and oil & gas sectors.
  2. Work closely with project teams to understand requirements and contribute innovative solutions.
  3. Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software, with a focus on Autodesk Inventor.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical designs.
  5. Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
  6. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
  7. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  2. Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer or Mechanical Design Engineer, preferably within the nuclear, renewable, or oil & gas sectors.
  3. Proficient in CAD software, specifically Autodesk Inventor.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  6. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic on-site environment.
