Position Summary: As a Mechanical Engineer/Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be an integral part of the engineering team, responsible for designing and developing mechanical components for projects within the nuclear, renewable, and oil & gas sectors. The role requires on-site presence, ensuring hands-on collaboration with their multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize your expertise in mechanical engineering to design and develop components for projects in the nuclear, renewable, and oil & gas sectors.
- Work closely with project teams to understand requirements and contribute innovative solutions.
- Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software, with a focus on Autodesk Inventor.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical designs.
- Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer or Mechanical Design Engineer, preferably within the nuclear, renewable, or oil & gas sectors.
- Proficient in CAD software, specifically Autodesk Inventor.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic on-site environment.
