A mechanical design engineer is required to join a leading medical devices organisation based in Cambridgeshire The role is extremely varied and it will give the successful mechanical design engineer the opportunity to grow and progress their career.

Mechanical Design / Mechanical Engineering / Project Engineering Position:

Job Responsibilities:

– Specify, design and test medical devices

– Overseeing design verification and validation

– Liaising with subcontractors

– Liaising with other design engineers

– Assisting in risk management

– Working with testing teams

Mechanical Engineer/ Mechanical Design Engineer / Project Engineer / Mechanical Development / Product Design Engineer Qualifications:

They are ideally looking for someone with the following background:

– Ideally degree educated but are flexible

– Strong 3D CAD experience

– Experience with medical devices would be highly desirable but they are able to look at individuals with experience within a highly regulated environment

– Experience with injection moulding, metals, electronic packaging, mechanism design would be highly desirable

Interview slots are available as early as Monday 16th March and they are ideally looking for someone to start as soon as possible but are happy to wait for the right individual. They are able to wait for up to 3 months for an individual to start.
