Mechanical Design Engineer – Building Services

I am looking to recruit a highly ambitious, career minded Building Services Mechanical Design engineer, to join a forward thinking expanding Building Services consultancy, based near Bracknell in Berkshire (excellent commuter/train line access and parking)

My client have been one of the leading names within Building Services Design and Project Management for over 25 years, and have made a name for themselves with their ability to deliver high profile, technically challenging projects.

Due to a large amount of repeat business and the expansion of their Design team, they are looking to recruit a Mechanical Building Services Design engineer to join the company.

Due to the nature of their projects, the position offers a very lucrative career path and the chance for substantial earnings in the future.

They are looking for a Mechanical Design engineer with a good level of experience, ideally working at good intermediate/early senior level at present. They want someone who is capable of taking the lead on their own projects in a client facing capacity, but who at the same time has the ambition and determination to push their career on to Principal/Associate and hopefully Director level in the future.

Due to the quality of projects they do, they really want someone who is technically strong, but is also capable of working as part of a vibrant, career driven team. As a business they believe in working hard but will also reward their employees for their dedication, with bonuses, promotion and other benefits.

You will ideally come with a minimum of 4/5 years experience within a consulting environment, and be happy to offer guidance to junior members of the team. While this is not initially a management role they want someone with the ambition and skill set to develop into a team leader, so management ambition is essential.

Reporting to the head of design, you will be capable of managing your own diary/work, and oversee the full life cycle of the design. This includes attending client meetings, site walks rounds etc.

If you are chartered or working towards this that would be an added bonus but by no means essential. If you wish to pursue chartership full support will be given.
