Mechanical Design Engineer – Building Services

Currently there is an exciting opportunity to work for a very well renowned building services consultancy based in Romford. This company has been operating for 30+ years and over this period had formed a reputation for delivering high quality services. They have a established client portfolio and continue to develop a vast array of projects and clients.
Currently they need a Mechanical engineer to come on board and hit the ground running on a number of ongoing projects. The mechanical engineer will be required to work on Labs, Healthcare, Schools, Residential, Rail and leisure projects.
You will need to attend meetings with clients, designers and contractors. Be able to prepare detailed designs on a wide range of building types. Carry out mechanical calculations on NES and Hevacomp. Basic knowledge of CAD and be able to write technical reports.
Essential Requirements
• Degree qualified
• Member with CIBSE
• Chartered Engineer (preferred but not essential)
• Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• Strong communication skills including written and verbal
• Excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD and Hevacomp Software packages.
