Person Description:
Looking for a Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer to join the Team in the Newcastle office. The main duties of the role would be as follows:-
• Design of Mechanical Engineering Systems for Construction Projects
• Preparation of reports and consultancy advice on existing Mechanical Engineering systems
• Site Surveys
• Supervision and monitoring of engineering installation works
• Attendance at client, design team and site meetings
• Ability to carry out SBEM / EPC calculations
• Ability to advise on BREEAM
• Ability to advise on renewable technologies / solutions
• Provide support for Senior Engineers

Systems will include: HVAC, Cooling, H&CWS, AGD, Steam, Fuels, Medical Gasses, BMS and Sustainable Technologies
You will need to hold a degree in Building Services Engineering (or similar) and be working towards Chartered Engineer status. You will need to have experience in the following areas:-
• Mechanical Design
• Thermal Modelling
• Software: IES, Hevacomp, Cymap, AutoCad, Revit MEP, MS Office
• Interpersonal Skills
