THE COMPANY:

This company is an established Building Services Consultancy specialising in the surveying and design of Building Services Projects. They are based in Central and East Midlands and work across a number of different sectors nationwide. Projects they undertake cover engineering and construction management services, from concept and feasibility studies, through all stages of design, tender review site supervision, project management and commissioning.

THE ROLE:

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the detailed design and coordination of mechanical solutions including Heating, ventilation & air-conditioning systems (HVAC), Domestic water systems, Gas systems, Above ground drainage systems. Additionally, you will be responsible for a range of projects from varying market sectors, with services being provided from inception / feasibility to detailed co-ordinated construction working design. Project types include:

• CAT A & B office fit outs
• BREEAM
• SKA Rating
• LEED
• WELL Building Standard

THE PERSON:

The company are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is at an Intermediate to Senior level within their current role. Ideally, you should be familiar with CAD and you should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, plus enthusiasm and ambition.
