Material and Logistic Coordinator – £25,000 – £26,000 depending on experience and capabilities

Client

An excellent opportunity has arisen within the material and logistics department of an expanding business, who are an international specialist provider of effective solutions and services to the oil & gas / petrochemical industries carrying out work in hazardous areas.

Role

Job Title: Materials & Logistics Coordinator
Reporting to: Materials & Logistics Manager
Duration: Permanent
Basic Salary: £30,000 – £31,200- dependant on experience
Benefits: Pension
Holidays: 35 days to include public holidays
Working Hours: 37.5 per week, Mon to Fri 08.00 – 16.30. Working hours may need to be flexible to meet the needs of the business.

Responsibilities:

– Support project teams with all aspects of shipping and logistics, including the tracking of rental equipment.

Person Specification -in ‘decision analysis format’ – higher weighting more important

– 10 Previous experience of coordinating the movement of goods
– 10 Highly organised with excellent time management and planning skills
– 9 Produced commercial invoices for export to liaise with Freight Forwarders for quotes, queries or issues
– 9 Customer focused with a flexible approach
– 8 Created dispatch and delivery notes
– 8 Liaised with stores and warehouse colleagues to ensure plans achieved
– 8 Created certificate packs
– 6 Experience with SAP or related software, with excellent computer skills
