The Client & Role | Who Are They?

Material supply is a challenge for many manufacturing businesses at this moment in time, everyone is fighting for the same materials, components and products.

We are retained to recruit a Materials expediter for a high-volume precision manufacturing business that supply products to the aerospace, automotive and powergen industry.

The Candidate | What Are We Looking For?

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning material supply from circa 30 plus suppliers globally and thousands of SKU’s to ensure optimum stock levels, maximise space and production efficiency, in line with sales forecasts.

This role will see you liaise directly with suppliers daily, negotiating, influencing and applying pressure when necessary, to ensure the business receives what it needs to hit its on time in full delivery schedule.

This role would suit those with experience in planning or buying. The key to success for this role is the ability to build relationships with suppliers and manage and plan incoming inventory in line with mater production schedule.
